You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

"The Tears of a Clone" ?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

We can shoot them when I stop laughing.

Also, when the damn earworm stops.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Hallo all. Met Gail Simone and Scott Kurtz at a signing here in SA Saturday. Scott was suprised and pleased that some of us brought his old PVP trade. He was also less upset when I alluded to Penny Arcade than I expected. Gail was very funny and smart, and not at all like a comic-book character.

...except for the part where she was a hot bespectacled redhead sitting in a chair. Hm.

The cover for NextWave #11 almost made me choke on my coffee.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The cover for NextWave #11 almost made me choke on my coffee.

Yeah, I shot precious coffee through my nostrils when I saw that this morning.

I am very glad I hadn't gone to get coffee, because it would be everywhere except in my belly where it belongs right about now.

That's a thing of beauty.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Was anyone following Lucifer? I'm sad to see it ending, but pleased that it had such a good run. There's a nice article about it over at Popmatters.

Didn't it end months ago? I've been reading it in the TPBs, so for me it won't be over for a little while yet. But yeah, I thought Carey did an amazing job. It made me happy that Lucifer remained such a complete asshole throughout. I mean, that's a tricky character to base a series around.

Well, it was released at the end of June, so I guess it has been two months. I've been reading it in spurts, though, so I hadn't been buying it off the shelf.

Heh, I wasn't sure myself. I think I deliberately stopped noticing the floppies at some point when I knew they would tempt me with their shiny newness.
