Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

Game master (as in RPGs). Weird though, the link works fine for me and there's nothing to sign in to...

Is it the "Your character makes the baby Jesus cry" poster?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It seems to be an Internet Explorer issue. I see the image with no errors in Firefox.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Nah, it's Firefox, too. At least it is for me. I get the 404.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Opera gave me the 404 too. Maybe it's a referrer/cache issue?

That has to be it. I just pasted the URL into IE, and it worked.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Anyone pick up Batman #655? Grant Morrison is on that title now.

And it seems a question I asked over a year ago [[and if you click this link, you'll get SPOILED for the current Batman storyline, so be warned]] -- Steph L. "The Jossverse in Other Media" Apr 11, 2005 3:18:32 pm PDT -- is now back in continuity as of Batman #655.

Huh.

Also, in the category of Scariest Things I've Ever Seen Bruce Wayne Say, I offer up the current issue of Robin (#152), in which Bruce asks, "Hey, is that The Clash?" I think I miss the Scary Bat God.

You can see how "Train in Vain" might not be compatible with his worldview...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Haven't read the new "Batman," although I intend to, but as to the scary things Batman says, I can totally believe he was a Clash fan when he was younger. He's about the right age and has the right anger management issues.

Yeah. Now if he was humming along to Hall and Oates, then there might be cause for concern.
