Plei, Steph; I wasn't spoiled so it came as a BIG surprise to me. My unspoiled perspective; it was damn cool.
Btw, the Zim comic was from a Nicktoons special that was released when the cartoon was airing. It'd be fun to see more Zim but a comic wouldn't cut it because the voices performances were the best part, IMHO.

I just now read the comic out loud to my co-worker (who borrowed my Zim and therefore knows what I'm talking about), and attempted to do the voices. We had a small disagreement over which one of us does a better GIR voice. (Me, clearly.)

Emmett does an excellent, Gir voice. "My taquitos!"

CONNER!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Also, reading it right after the
Teen Titans Annual? Makes it worse. I mean, in the good painful way.

KOOOOOOOOOON
!!!
HEE!
Tom, that was running through my head.
Heh. Mine, too. As well as
"Oh, my god! They killed Conner!" "You bastards!!!"
What a week to be too broke to buy my comics!
Me, I'm just wondering how
Superboy Prime, who'd been shown to have the same essential upbringing and heroic outlook as the Earth-1 Superman prior to this series, turned into a psychotic, murderous, whiny five-year-old despite the influence of Earth-2's Superman and Lois over the past 21 years
.
Matt, I suspect that
Alex messed with Superboy-Prime's head (not literally; in a Yoko Factor headgames way) while Earth-2 Supes was preoccupied with Lois being ill and dying. In fact, that's the reason that Alex gave for the ease with which he and SPB were able to slip away from their fortress thingie, so I just extrapolated that he also used Supes' preoccupation as an opportunity to fuck with SPB's mental state.
