Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This dude says that Batgirl and Nightwing will be ending their runs. I am predictably mixed on this news. Half horrified, half blasé.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

He's right on the former, but I hadn't heard anything about the latter going.

What are they doing to me? He also said there'd be no more Gotham Central which bothers me less since I don't collect it, and Wonder Woman is common knowledge (which makes me wonder why I'm whitefonting, but whatever).

NOT THE FORMER, DAMMIT.

I also just read that they revealed that Selina's reformation was mindwipe-related. While I understand the general urge to up the pain of major characters, does this undermine good stuff that's been done with the character to date? I'm assuming the retcon contradicts canon.

It feels like a sacrifice -- sure, collateral damage in service to IC to some, pissing on a favourite character to others.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Actually, I think at least some of those titles are only taking short hiatuses. I know that's the case with Justice League, Wonder Woman and I believe Nightwing. Batgirl is a new one on me, though -- not sure what they're plans are, if any.

Whew! I mean, there's hope.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Isn't there some weird ownership thing with William Moulton Marston's estate that if DC Comics stops publishing Wonder Woman for any significant length of time all the rights revert to his family? I wonder if they're going to publish some kind of WW special or limited series to cover the gap ...

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Does the WW movie count as "publishing"?

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Matt, as far I know, no. If there is a problem about that, that has to do with recent copyright changes rather than old agreements...
