We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Also, full cop, I totally voted for J. WeeWee last round.

Not this round, though I note he's got a respectable 44% against the master himself.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Moore v. Whedon - How did Joss beat Garth Ennis? Can I in good conscience vote AGAINST the man who gave us Watchmen and V for Vendetta?

I love Joss' writing, but he doesn't get to use "Prophecy Girl" or "Once More, With Feeling" against Swamp Thing and Promethea with me. His work in the comics field, although good, just isn't on the same level as Moore's.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

That's kind of my feeling. He just doesn't have enough body to work with. And Alan Moore has even proven that he can handle humour in Top Ten.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gail Simone on the CBR forums:

Okay, all I can say is, after the One Year Later jump, ALL BETS ARE OFF. Some REALLY fun and new stuff is coming up...I can't wait for you guys to see.

But, and let's say this is purely speculative--

--if there were to be a new Bop team, completely new, no returning members--

Who would you like to see in the group?

I have no idea if that's spoilery or not, so whiting just in case.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Buh?

I sure hope DC doesn't fuck this up royally.

Maybe she's just teasing. I don't see the point in it being a real plan.

Oh, not just what Simone said, but the whole Crisis/One Year Later shebang. It's just ripe for being a disastrous cock-up.
