Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Plei, on your spoilery comment -- is that the Batcave, or the Watchtower? Because the good guys who I didn't recognize mentioned an explosion on the moon, and unless it was Chairface Chippendale, I was assuming it was the Watchtower.

Also, this week's BoP -- I can't make any sense of the timelines of the different titles. Like, did the most recent Outsiders happen before this issue of BoP? V. v. confusing.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Steph, those characters are the newest version of the Freedom Fighters, one of the classic superteams that DC bought decades ago. They've popped up a bit in JSA, and a lot of the members have been prominent in other titles in the past (Damage, Titans and Starman, to name a couple.

Best comic EVAH is too much hyperbole for me, but it does look promising.

Not best *comic* EVAH (the whole issue, that is) -- but the last page is (allegedly) the best page of comics EVAH. Still a lot of hype. We'll see.

Yeah. I've found they're not their own best judges of that, really.

I'm just trying to imagine what in the hell would make it the best page EVAR. Superman rips off his Superman mask to reveal that he's Vicki Vale? Batman dances the Batusi?

Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman three-way.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

This is a comic book guy saying this. It would have to be a Batman/Wonder Woman/Power Girl threeway.
