Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Oh no, I just finished it last night. Well, I picked it up right before going to bed, figuring I'd read a few pages as a teaser and finish it up over the week. Yeah. Wow.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

When I started reading it I was thinking "Max picked the wrong super-heroine to get all chauvinistic and gloaty with. Unlike the rest of the big JLA heroes Diana doesn't have much of a rogues gallery—because her enemies tend to leave their fights in body bags!" It felt kinda good to be proven right a few pages later.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. Excellent point about the rogue's gallery, Matt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Art Crawl!!!

As I suspected -- WW was sold out. I did pick up OMAC #4.

I still need WW. Have read the 3 Superman titles, as well as OMAC, so I get the general idea of what's the what, but I still want to read WW.

I have also read the 3 supes titles -- this is why I wanted WW -- since it's the conclusion of that story. I must admit that I'm finding the continuity between that story, OMAC and the Bat titles . . . confusing.

Also, JLA Classified -- I should have picked that up, shouldn't I? Just having Bats on the cover like that and it's written by Warren Ellis . . . I really should have picked it up.

I give up on inter-title continuity. Seriously. Batman is in 50 different places at once (including leading the Outsiders, which is amusing only b/c I have mad love for Black Lightning's costume), as is Nightwing and, I think, Robin. I have NO idea who is where when, and I have given up trying to figure it out.

ION, I read Nightwing/Deathstroke fic last night, and it was really, really good. I *so* didn't expect that.
