I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I keep forgetting that I'm not actually subbed to this thread.

Thanks, Jeff. I popped into Barnes and Noble on the way home, and every book I could find, including the current Overstreet, doesn't list it. I appreciate the help.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

So, did anyone else just about lose it when Flash made a crack about the Batmobile in last night's JLU?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I just saw the re-run of JLU (didn't see it last night), and the truly hilarious part about Flash's Batmobile line was the completely serious way in which MR delivered it.

Also, the ending? FUCKED-UP, yo. Though it's interesting how it's dovetailing with the comics.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Though it's interesting how it's dovetailing with the comics.

I agree with the TFU,Y aspect, I more or less said the same outloud when I saw it, but as someone who's not keeping up with the comics, how is it fitting in with them?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I took this test on the Fantastic Four, and had to giggle at this explanation behind one of the answers:

America doesn’t have hereditary rulers, especially not ones who are supervillains bent on world domination; of course, in a comic-book universe, anything is possible.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I love the idea of the Red Ghost rounding up his minions from Supercuts and rocketing off into space with them.

"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

I picked up all three (Serenity #1, Angel: The Curse #2, and The Freshman #1) today, plus some of the new Buffy/Angel action figures. The Serenity figures are on the cover of the freebie Diamond Select Toys Spectrum preview.
