Now, now. She admits in the first paragraph that she doesn't know much about the industry.
And why exactly did the editor assign her this story rather than someone who did?
The problem with the male cats is that they don't have the whole Bat-hookup angle working for them.
Clearly you need to start writing for DC Comics so you can correct this.
I'm so amused by the guest voices on tonight's JLU. I'm expecting
Vixen
to say to
Vigilante, "Take me, sir. Take me hard."
Yup, that would be great. Of course, the question is
what the hell is J'onn thinking about sending Vigilante on a space mission? That bit about GL not being able to go because there might be confusion as to who is in charge is utter nonsense.
I was kind of scratching my head about that one, too. Exactly how much use do you have for
an Old West gunslinger
on a mission to
rescue miners in the depths of space
?
Still, I enjoyed the episode.
Vigilante
made me laugh quite a bit, though part of it could have been me making mental comparisons to
Mal.
Maybe the JLU has a diversity requirement in staffing?
Does Ibn al Xu'ffasch only exist in the Kingdom stories? I read some scans on scans_daily, and the Batman made me want to scream.
Pretty much, yeah. There was a Batman story a while back, can't recall the name, where Batman and Talia had a son, but I think it's been retconned out of existence, or at least, not acknowledged until someone decides they want to play the story.
I
used
to like the idea of Batman and Talia, but those snippets from the Ibn story really put me off. I guess it's down to him and the bodyguard from Murderer.
Question: I have a co-worker whose entire Batman exposure has been the first three movies, my mutterings, and Red Son. At home, I have No Man's Land and Bruce: Wayne Murderer in trade, as well as some Batgirl. I want to prep him a little for
Batman Begins.
NML or BMW? Which is more illuminating and less confusing for a tyro?
Of the two choices, I'd say BMW.
The main appeal of NML for me is that its Jim Gordon is
so
the Gordon of the movie. But I get that it might be a bit more opaque.
I
intend
to own Year One and the like, just not soon enough for him.
