No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

Is that the MTV Spider-Man? I really loved the animation and the theme song in that one.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Is that the MTV Spider-Man?

No. Fox had a Spiderman cartoon in the 90's. The MTV one came out after the first movie. I only caught bits and pieces of the latter. Wasn't a big fan of the animation style myself.

JLU: Okay, that episode was a lot of fun. I knew we were getting Huntress but wasn't expecting the rest of the cast.

Ending was kind of predictable but the dialogue and banter was top notch.

Art Crawl!!!

I agree -- I really enjoyed JLU tonight.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The voice casting bugged me just a little bit -- I would have switched the actors for Huntress and Black Canary. And it doesn't have anything to do with the whole blonde = higher voice stereotype (a stereotype, I might add, which has been applied to me many a time, and promptly disproved the minute I open my Barry White mouth).

I just tend to think of Huntress as having a deeper voice than Canary, I suppose.

Well, I'd imagine since Canary appeared first, Morena was cast before Amy was, but I don't know for sure.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why can't Huntress work with Batman? Philosophical differences? Does she kill? Or will she?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Steph, for various reasons, I always think of Canary as having a smokey voice. This is no doubt the result of the Grell run of Green Arrow, and has nothing to do with the 'toonverse.

Toonverse or comics?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Odd. Conversations about the Huntress iin two different forums in one night.

Batman thinks the Huntress plays too rough, and in the comics he through her out of the JLA for trying to kill Prometheus after he's already been disabled.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I thought of Canary as having a voice similar to Yoko Ono's, considering the blinding pain either can inflict with it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd assume Black Canary has more control over her voice than Yoko, though.

Either, Plei. I'd figured killing was part of it.

Did she get thrown out before No Man's Land?
