ita, I think you and I are one on the pre-impression of the movie. I just counter my worries about Alba with the article I read in a Chicago magazine last weekend about McMahon using his native accent in the movie. (Apparently Latveria must be a postage-stamp sized country in Eastern Europe that was settled by Australians...)
Oh, god, McMahon's Doom had better do a lot of really really bad things. Because that voice help me excuse quite a bit. Damn, he's good at arrogant.
I thought Dr. Doom was the Nazi concentration-camp survivor?

No, that's Magneto.

Thanks. Seen one guy in a mask, seen 'em all.
Is he also a Nazi concentration camp survivor in the comics, or was that just in the movie as an ironic nod to Apt Pupil ?
Nope, that's the classic Magneto story.
Magneto doesn't wear a mask. He wears a helmet.
ita hmms my ahem. The only thing that Marvel has waffled on is whether Magneto is Jewish or a Magnetic Pole.
