Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So comiclist has this listed:

Ed The Happy Clown #1 (Of 9), $2.95

I'm assuming it's a reprint. I would really like to recommend this to anyone who hasn't read it, but I can't. I'm also afraid that if I warned people about the pages and pages of scatology and the talking penis that looks like Ronald Reagan that people would be turned off completely, but they shouldn't be, because it's really, really good. It's a classic.

Also this week is Filler Bunny #3, which is the first new comic from Jhonen Vasquez in several years. Also very, very gross.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Countdown To Infinite Crisis preview.

Why does it have to come out next week??? Why can't it be tomorrow??? Why why WHY???

t /first-world problems

Of the new short-run titles (scroll down) that are being released in conjunction with this new Infinite Crisis, I think the only one that I'm going to get is OMAC Project.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Countdown To Infinite Crisis preview.

Damn. This might just be what sucks me back into comics.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

"Countdown to Infinite Crisis" looks awesome, but man, that is the worst title ever.

Will I buy it? Oh yes. But I will still mock the name.

They better not kill Blue Beetle, though. Especially not so soon after killing Sue Dibny. Although if they are doing that, I can see why the whole thing might have driven Keith Giffen to leave DC.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Victor, I get the bad feeling they're going to. Because they're ratfuckers and they hate me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But! But! I like him! They can't do that. And those preview pages make me like him more.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

amych took the words out of my mouth.

Damn it.

I know. Those previews are some of the best he's been handled in ages, aside from maybe in BoP, and I think he's a goner. I'm pretty sure that's who Batman's holding on the cover. Of course, other rumors say Nightwing or the Atom, but my money's on Mr. Kord

I admit, after reading the pages, I went back up and relooked at the cover with a sense of closing doom. I hope I'm making up the goggles in the guy's silhouette. And, you know, there's no assurance (is there?) that the guy's dead, right?
