I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Dr. Strange is a much loved character, but in that "gee, I love Dr. Strange when he appears in other people's books" sort of way.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Neilalien is the blog you want to go to if you are a Dr. Strange fan - the site also has decent comics commentary in general. I've been picking up the JMS-penned Strange revamp, and am mightily disappointed.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

With you there. While I'm willing to give them some slack with the re-interpretation of Strange himself, the snotty holier-than-thou Wong and the Ancient One as a suit-wearing New Age Guru really rankle.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had a craving for comic book cover wallpaper, and as a result have spent way too much time here. It's like the IMDB for comics.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Wow. I'd forgotten all about Treasure Chest, but I know I read some of them as a kid.

Has this been passed around yet?

SPIKE RETURNS IN AUGUST WITH PETER DAVID Posting in the thread following Newsarama’s preview of their upcoming Angel: The Curse miniseries, IDW Editor in Chief let a little more of the company’s plans for the property slip.

When asked by a reader about the possibility of seeing Spike again, Ryall responded: “All you Spike fans, look for a one-shot in August, too, written by Peter David.”
