Mal: Gotta say, doctor, your talent for alienatin' folk is near miraculous. Simon: Yes, I'm very proud.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. If that building blew up, we'd be screwed.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Wow. Isn't that ridiculously cheap for a con? But are there then a whole bunch of hidden fees, like to actually see speakers or get pictures/autographs?

Not really. I think most of the WizardWorld cons (outside of the Chicago one) run in the $40 - $45 range, IIRC. I'm going to MegaCon in Orlando at the end of the month, I paid $40. The autographs there are free, but you have to get in early to get tickets for the autographs of the major stars, because they are limited. This year Joe Quesada is the main guest (presumably to run in Crossgen's demise). Good times, but WonderCon is probably limiting the number of West Coast guests they've had in the past.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

There's a lawsuit just waiting to happen.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Are Tim and Jane safely working on the Inside and thus outside minimum safe distance?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

You know, my head is going to explode, because while I REALLY want to add Action to my pull while Gail Simone is on the title, it involves spending money on something touched by (spits) Byrne.

If he's just pencilling, think of it as him being used as a beast of burden by Gail to tell her story.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

They Fight Crime! Go. Click. The one I just got was He's a world-famous amnesiac photographer who knows the secret of the alien invasion. She's a ditzy antique-collecting magician's assistant with an MBA from Harvard. They fight crime!

A friend of mine is threatening to run a role-playing game with characters generated by this site.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did you just discover They Fight Crime, Jilli?

'Cuz, uh, you know we were doing it since back at WX days, and making innumerable jokes about it, right?

Or were you just reminding us of how fun it is?
