Good for characterization, but that trade is all over the map in art and story (take a few pages from Adventures, add a few pages from Man of Steel, maybe even include an entire issue of Action).
Yes, but it gives good Lois.
Steph, I think right now, Rucka's Lois is the best, so if you want to try seeing what Clark and I see in Lois, pick up the last completed story arc in Adventures, though I'll admit that Adventures is Rucka's weakest work. I heard that Simone was coming over to Action, and if this is indeed the case, a: I have a new title for my pull; and b: I can't wait to see her on Lois.

You've moved on to writer/character slash now, I see.
It was really only a matter of time.
Finally ready my copy of Ult. X-Men. It was an okay issue story-wise but the art was even worse this month than last. The characters' faces weren't even consistent from panel to panel other than consistantly bad. The distance shots seemed okay, but the upclose shots were lousy.
Also, I think Ultimate-verse
Arcade
is kind of lame. I mean, he's pretty lame in the regular Marvel-verse, but couldn't they have come up with something better than
a Punisher-wannabe who plays video games
?
When I say he's less lame in the Ultimateverse, well, that's my depth of my disdain for the character.
He reminds me in UXM of Ultimate Kraven, mostly.
Victor, did you read this week's Legion? I was so amused by how funny it was. There were moments I was snorting out loud on the train.
Has anyone picked up Warren Ellis's Ocean on Wildstorm? I think it was my favorite of the stuff I've picked up recently. It's interesting right off the bat, had intrigue, space, and sci-fi, and I only have to commit to 6 issues.
So, in JLU, is that
Adam Baldwin
doing the voice of
Hal Jordan
(who, by the way, made me actually GASP)?
Okay, maybe too many x-posts...
