"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Did anyone get Green Lantern: Rebirth or Lucifer this past week? I thought I saw both mentioned as shipping on the 12th, but no such luck at my comics store.

Art Crawl!!!

The last GL:Rebirth I have is #3.

I guess, I'll have to ask the comic guy to get "Sensei and Student" for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

DKR -- I don't know from El Segundo, but I do know that Golden Apple on Melrose in LA is a great store, and Hi De Ho in Santa Monica's pretty good too, if you travel north.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

According to the shipping list, we get TT #20 tomorrow (fallout from Identity Crisis -- hell yeah, baby, bring the pain) AND Outsiders #19 (I'm suddenly wondering if Lian is toast). Nice.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Also new Daredevil, Powers, and Spider-Man India. You know, I really wanted to find a comic book store in India and buy a copy of Spider-Man India for kicks.

That's it? Dammit. I guess the new Y comes out next week, then. COME ON, VAUGHAN.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Interview with Los Bros Hernandez in the Onion today.

Hey, Hec, is Jaime the one on the upper right? 'Cause that guy looks suspiciously like the guy who was standing in front of me at the Centro-Matic show last SXSW with the badge that said "Jaime Hernandez".

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Upper right is Gilbert, actually. Though he wouldn't be averse to pranking people by wearing his brother's tag.

Absent evidence of a different Jaime Hernandez who might be performing/speaking at SXSW, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was probably Gilbert.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
