I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Geez, that's powerful. Now I'm wondering what the premise of the comic is.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Thatcherism. You've got to read it -- it's one of the best ever.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh hell yeah -- you MUST read it.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Without a doubt.

Crap. I need to read Transmetropolitan. I'm surfing through the scans_daily LJ community, and came across some scans from Next Winters, where Spider says the following: "....That takes me back, you know. We were so poor on the quayside that on New Year's Eve they had to put on fireworks shows using intestines. Luckily there were a lot of people from New Zealand around. But in the end we used them all up. I remember Lefty Ingpen tried for a similar effect by stuffing puppies in a chipping machine. But anyway."

Must. Read.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Crap. I need to read Transmetropolitan.

Fuck yes, you do.

I read *all* of it in approx. 23 hours, with a break for sleep. I'm still not *quite* recovered.

Yeah, Roz told me about it today. I'll find a copy...somewhere.

If you can wait till I get back, I have it all on cd via Plei. Or at least, everything that she had in August. I haven't read it yet, but after being bowled over by the amazingness of Powers, I'm going to dive into it this month. At which point I will probably tell you to read it too.

That should be all of it. I have it complete in e-form, and yes, will be replacing that with the trades when possible.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

New Teen Titans tonight.

No new JLU, though.
