"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

bounds in for gratuitous number sluttage.

You are such a weasel.

I bought two copies of the comic today (got the drawn covers too).

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Hec, do you normally get the art covers, or the photo covers? I always get the art covers. For me, buying the art covers makes it seem more that I"m buying an independent artistic work, rather than a promotional tie-in. I don't know why.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Sorry, the Tales of Slayer is a one shot, though it certainly doesn't read as one...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If they wrote the segments separately rather than in tandem for the whole book, whoever did the first part must have knocked it out on a coffee break.

JZ prefers the art covers, and I was picking one up for her. I have picked up the photo covers before, but that's just because I wanted a nice shot of Willow and Oz together.

I am Jack's total lack of surprise.

I enjoyed the longer Tales of the Slayer book, but this one didn't impress me.

The connection between the stories was thin. Also, it just seemed too short. There was no character development and not much plot. I also couldn't figure out why the Djinn went back in the bottle. It felt like the issue was missing pages or something.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I liked the story, although it did seem like they edited out a lot. Loved the Gene Colan artwork.

There was one thing about it that had me going, "Huh?" The episode is set in S2, right? Would S2 Willow have been able to cast a spell that opened that time portal? I always thought that the resouling spell was the first she ever cast of that magnitude.

Art Crawl!!!

It was a oneshot?

Huh - -why bother numbering it then?

I agree that it certainly didn't read like one.

I think they plan to do other Tales of the Slayer issues on a semi-random schedule...

Art Crawl!!!

Wondering how that differs from their regular schedule.
