Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

making her home at bronzebeta.com since 2001

The penciller in this issue is Phil Hester. This is the first time I've picked up a GA comic, so I have no idea if he is new or not.

Correction: There is a blurb at the back that says Tom Fowler and Rodney Ramos will be starting with the next issue.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Enjoyed Astonishing X-Men muchly.

Now that Identity Crisis is over, I'm wondering what the heck was up with the sale-gone-wrong of one of Luthor's exo-suits in issue #1. Did that ever tie into goings-on elsewhere in the DC-verse, as it ended up having nothing to do with the IC storyline at all.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I can answer that, but it would be spoily.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Steph can you whitefont? At least which title gets the followup?

Teen Titans, after Titans Tomorrow.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Steph is correct. And the Tians also get Dr. Light.

In other news--Green Lantern: Reborn has me turning all shades of fanboy. I am giddy as a ferret in a laundry hamper.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I love that description.

Hmm. I should crawl into bed and read my pulls.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Loved Astounishing as well.

Was fond of both "I like beer" and especially (probably not the exact quote) Kitty's "Why do you insist on saying things I can never un-hear?"

Heh.

Huh. You know, with IC done, I should probably pick up a new title. I liked what I've seen of the new TT, but I'm woefully behind. With suprnova dead I don't know where to find back issues (trying to order them through my local comic store hasn't worked in the past.) Any recommendations?

ETA: Yeah, I liked that one too, Frank. Obviously.
