I'll be fine. I'll be your bounty, Jubal Early. And I'll just fade away.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hmmm. back in the day, Ms. Marvel (whose invulnerability Rogue possesses) fought the Super Skrull and managed to withstand multiple blows without serious injury.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I may be about to snap my X-reading down to Ultimate, Astonishing, New and District X. The other stuff is getting insane and messy and inconsistent even for the X-Verse. I just don't want to drop Uncanny because Storm's still getting lines.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Yeah, Uncanny's not exactly fulfilling my dreams etither. I waited years for Rachel's return to the X-Verse and they stuck her in some crappy stories. Plus her costume sucks a whole hell of a lot.

She does look kinda cute in the thing she's running around the Hellfire Club in now, though, don't you think? But her normal outfit is ass.

Oh, I am kinda curious about Gambit in Unadjectival X-Men too. Pfft. But I only really like the ones I mentioned before.

Fuck. Do I spoil myself for IC #7?

Fuck fuck fuck.

Someone on LJ read an advance copy that their comic-book guy had, and has posted spoilers. Including whodunit.

FUCK! I'm so torn.

When does it come out, for real? Next week?

Next week, according to Diamond.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I read the LJ post, but then again, I'm not terribly invested in the series anymore, so I didn't really have any downside to spoiling. If you're hanging on every issue, save the surprise.

I'd hold out. If it was longer than that, I'd be there right now.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Fuck. Do I spoil myself for IC #7?

Be strong. I'm resisting temptation.

When does it come out, for real? Next week?

Yep. Wednesday.
