Thrive to spite them

That sucks!

I got my comics yesterday: TT, BoP, Ultimate X Men, and Wonder Woman.

I think I missed an issue of WW so I need to go get that, I'm really enjoying the title.

BoP confused me slightly, I need to go back and read it. And TT once again brought out the omgwtf! factor.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Yeah, I can state unequivocally that Heather Hudson was never a doctor. I think Shaman may have been, however. And Sasquatch was a PhD.
I thought about this and forehead-slapped, because I managed to commit a faux pas. I was thinking of Heather Hudson as Sasquatch being a doctor, because that's the version of her that's in the alternate-reality funfest that is eXiles. I somehow managed to brainblock myself from realizing that this version of Sasquatch conflates Heather and... isn't his name Walter? Oh, plus she's black. Those wacky eXiles.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That's... about as un-Heather Hudson as you can get.

Oh, and she was married Logan in her universe. Until she had to kill him. It sounds schlocky as hell, but the series is actually pretty fun. The writers get to screw around with canon the way you could never get away with otherwise.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I've been watching the Phoenix Saga on the animated series. Man, if I knew what snark was so many years ago...not once but twice does a character greet a newly introduced character by saying, "Character's Name! Character's Status and Role in a Gratuitous and Awkward Manner!"

Also, how does Gladiator breathe in space?

Like the Silver Surfer, he doesn't need to. He's potentially one of the strongest beings evar, too.

Apparently so. He totally whupped on Juggernaut. That was actually a pretty good way to show his strength. Kind of like, "When scary things get scared? Not good."

Gladiator's power is based in part on his confidence; the more certain he is of his success, the stronger he gets, and the stronger he gets, the more confident. He took out the entire Fantastic Four once. Let's face it, you have to be pretty confident to walk around with purple skin and a mohawk that big. However, Cannonball did lay him out once by making Gladiator doubt himself for just a second and then hitting him with everything he had.

What about his mind? Can't the Professor make him doubt himself?

His power is based on his confidence? What will they think of next?

I have a plan.

What about his mind?

It was postulated that his power is actually psychic in nature. So, while I've never read about a telepath trying to take him out, one might have a hard time doing it anyway.
