Really? But comics-verse John is so much more stable and thoughtful than Kyle.
Also, John doesn't ever whine.
(I love Kyle, but he is prone to feeling sorry for himself.)
But John seems boring, and Kyle is so cool, and if I'm gonna marry a comic-book character, I might as well go for cool.
They do tend to be somewhat two-dimensional.

You need to read more comics with John in them. He rocks.
You'd smack the shit out of Kyle in about 10 minutes, and he's often broke, so you wouldn't get anything cool out of the divorce, thus the F.
