You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Steph, I totally agree with your #5.

For #1, the only motive anyone can see is that he planned it so that Jean would fall in love with him again, which is really, really weak, especially for a pretty smart guy who's been a hero for lo these many years.

For #6, I'm pretty sure it was the latter, because as far as the GCPD are officially concerned, Batman doesn't exist.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Steph, some answersm as best I can muster. More on this later in LJ, too:

1.) I can think of no motive for Atom. A couple for Jean Loring--who has access to his technology, but even those are specious.

2.) I suspect that's a story for another day. But probably one not TOO far away.

3.) This one I think I've actually got. When Light "exploded" with energy, he actually projected a hologram of his repressed memories. It only flashed for an instant, so the Flash was the only one who could see it.

4.) & 5.) Maybe. I think I'm going to hold off on predicting Bruce's reaction. He's an odd cat, y'know?

6.) Batman doesn't exist. Therefore, the nice government agents don't acknowledge he's there. Period.

7.) The comment was "YOUR guys, meaning the Flash Rogues,of which Boomer was a member.

8.) I can't let the Calculator go yet. I think he's more tied up in this then he's letting on.

Not much help, I'msure. But hopefully some.

Victor puts waaaay too much thought into "Identiy Crisis" here and here.

Right. Moreso that than the specific guys listed in Plei's link, because traditionally Grodd, Abra Kadabra, Professor Zoom, and pretty much anyone else Flash fought in his book would also be considered part of the Rogues Gallery.

That being said, though, the ones in the link pretty much see themselves as a unit, or at least, as cohorts. The others tend to be a bit more ... Big Baddish.

Yeah, I guess it really depends on who's doing the defining. I'm just going by who'd be in the picture whenever Carmine Infantino would do a special two-page spread of Flash's Rogues Gallery for a Flash Annual or somethin'.

What Victor said.

The Rogues are in some respects the best part of the Flash title, especially the handful of Recovering Rogues.

Re: IC, I really wish I had my issues of JSA: Stealing Thunder at hand, because it's got some stuff I want to re-read now that may or may not tie into everything.
