Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The fastball special is a Wolverine and Colossus special. It's their thing.

A guy walked past me at krav in a GL toque, so I grabbed it off his head, and pretended to not want to give it back.

me: Well, if it were Superman I wouldn't let you wear it.
him: Why? What's wrong with Superman?
me: You gotta pick -- Supes or Batman.
him: Why do I have to pick? Can't I like them both?
me: Nope. It's like Wolverine and Cyclops. You can only like one.
him: But Wolverine and Cyclops are both cool.
me: You're some strange sort of comics ho.
him: You like Wolverine more, don't you? Cykes could totally kick his ass.
me: Please! Unpowered Storm can kick Cyclops around the room.
him: That was just the one time.
me: How many times do you have to be beaten by a normal GIRL?
him: Well, he was under..
me: Don't even say it!
him: ... the influence of the Goblin Queen.
me: Retcon! Retcon!
him, quietly: Retcon? We're probably the only two people in this room that know that word, and I'm going to pretend I don't. You're on your own.
me: ::waves freak flag::

eta:

Except he didn't say them...

Didn't need to.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dude likes Cyclops? You gotta work on picking better people to flirt with.

Okay, ita's conversation with the guy at krav made me laugh until tears came streaming down my face.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Just read IC #6.

Huh. Wow. Huh.

That's all for now.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

him: That was just the one time.

Dude thinks Scott Summers is a better hand-to-hand combatant than Ororo? She took Lady WolverineCallisto out in a knife fight!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Sigh. I have this FEELING that my day is going to go "work, work, make grocery list while waiting for husband to get home, send husband out for comics and groceries, wait with NO patience whatsoever for the damn books."

If it comes down to hand to hand with Scott, yeah, he's lost by definition. However, dude has distance powers, she's got nothing but her brain...Goblin Queen can kiss my ass. For a comic I loved, they've got some horrific retcons.

Dude didn't use his distance powers, since the terms of the fight were "no powers." (A moot point now anyway, and since neither of them is invulnerable it's down to who gets the first accurate shot in...)

Madelyne Pryor can make my head hurt like few other comic characters. It's as if, when they wrote her backstory, the printer's ink was made from concentrated crap.

Really? I had recalled her out-manouvering him so that he couldn't use them.

I'll have to look that up.
