I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Ouch. I spent many an hour in that store.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That's the one on Melrose, right?

New "The Batman" will air on November 13th. (I assume this is the next new The Batman.)

So....nobody has any thoughts on the end of War Games?

Art Crawl!!!

I am very sad for Babs and her Clock Tower. I am also feeling like the story was to provoke MORE stories and that the ending was somewhat unsatisfactory as a result. Also, sad for Spoiler and thinking that finding her daughter will be a new added obsession for the Bat. Ummm -- timing: Outsiders -- pre War Games ?

I'm thrilled at where the characters are, emotionally and story-wise, at the end of War Games. But I'm less than thrilled at how they got there, considering that they got there by driving through giant plot holes.

Right -- everyone is in pain.

Not just in pain -- essentially, Bats is almost totally alone. He pissed off the GCPD to the point where he's back to outlaw status. He pissed off Babs enough that, with the watchtower destroyed, I could easily see her leaving Gotham. (Maybe for Bludhaven?) Nightwing is going to have to tell Bruce about Blockbuster very very very soon. He's hanging on by a thread. And I just can't imagine that, after he tells Bruce about Blockbuster, he's going to want to hang around Gotham very much. Though I could be wrong on that, and, because of the events of War Games, Bruce could actually have had some empathy creep in behind the cowl. And so maybe he'll actually have some understanding and kindness for Nightwing, and possibly Nightwing will stay in Gotham. But I doubt it. Robin? When he finds out about Spoiler, he's going to be traumatized. Not to mention that Darla just got killed in front of him (even though it seems like 3 months to the readers, I think War Games actually took place over maybe 2 or 3 days), and he has to deal with that. Catwoman and Batgirl are kind of barely on my radar right now, but I imagine that after they get the full story about how badly Bats handled things during War Games -- particularly with Oracle -- they won't be too keen on him.

So, essentially, we're set up for a more or less isolated Batman. The other capes who DO continue to work with him aren't going to be, I don't think, very happy with him for a long damn time.
