Buffy: You tossed that vamp like he was a... little teeny vamp. Riley: You wanna go again? C'mon. I bet this place is just teeming with aerodynamic vampires.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There were a sample couple pages in a shiny flyer at the store about an upcoming Batgirl Robin crossover. I'm a little protective of wee killer Cass, so I read anxiously. I'm not convinced she should have so eloquent an internal monologue, although what she actually said during it fit with my expectations of her character.

Steph, I think you may appreciate Robin getting beat down, and being rescued by Batgirl. Tim looks pretty upset about it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Not really impressed with this months Ultimate Nightmare. For a 5 issue series, the story is progressing really slowly. Aside from Wolverine's little "Do this, do that" rant there wasn't much to it.

Yeah, wasn't feeling that love either. I'm 1/2way through District X, and it's gotten to an irritating twist that always drives me bugfuck.

I liked Ultimate X-Men, though.

Same here. Still hating Gambit's perm, though.

Art Crawl!!!

I didn't like that art in either Legends or Nightwing this week.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

LDK was new this week too? Damn, now I have to go back; I didn't see it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Consuela! Did you make it into the office? I could meet up with you anytime between now and 4:45.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hec, you're definitely going to want to tune into Teen Titans this week.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

FYI, Marvel is doing open voice auditions for a new Ultimate Avengers animated movie.
