GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Huh. Today is the first week in recent memory there's nothing I read coming out. It seems wrong somehow.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Outsiders is indeed in the stores. I know, because I now have it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have read Outsiders (interesting, want to see ramifications NOW), Batman (kinda whatever, I wonder what's going through the Bathead right now, because he's not that sharp at the moment) and X-Men (kind of annoying, because you've been too trusting with Juggernaut, ALL of you, but you let Xorn^2 free and run around just like that? That's just odd)

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

The X-Men have a nice track record of doing that, though, ita. Magneto and Sabertooth leap to mind. The X-Men are stereotypical white hats in that respect, though don't count Cain out yet. They've built up quite a lot regarding his desire to be good; I don't expect them to throw all of it away.

Art Crawl!!!

I loved the interaction between Nissa and her Dad in Outsiders. Also, the big Dick/Roy fight.

And I'm about 1 issue - or 1 month behind in Green Lantern. Is all the stuff about people close to Kyle who have been killed or died completely unconnected to IC ?

I'm not counting Cain out at all -- they've gone out of their way to make it look like he's playing the Brotherhood, not the X-Men. The Xorn thing, though? On the heels of a suspected betrayal from within? Why is he with them? However, he's in costume on the splash page. The fait seemed a little quickly accompli.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What's with Marvel's new 2099 titles? They're so weird. Daredevil 2099 is about some guy who dresses up as some sort of mecha-Daredevil, without any of Matt's actual abilities. I mean...what's the point?

Although the new official guide looked really useful. Relatively complete histories of the important characters, as far as I could tell. I had no idea Elektra had been introduced as recently as 1981. Also didn't know Karen Page was Matt's original girlfriend, which makes Kevin Smith's run particularly significant.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I mean...what's the point?

It's to separate you from more of your money.
