Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

sumi, victor, Cluemaster supposedly died in the first issue of Sucuide Squad v.3 a few years ago, but it looks like he may be lurking about in the background of the FBI facing off against the Rogues in Flash ...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Really, Cabil? My goodness, that's...disturbing.

If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be lyrically, Talib Kweli. Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense But I did five mill' - I ain't been rhymin like Common since (Jay-Z)

Anyone reading Ultra? I picked up the first two issues yesterday and it's pretty compelling so far. It borrows quite a bit from Powers, particularly the Little Deaths arc.

Speaking of Powers: Miracle Man, I just got the original art of the 2-page scene of the autopsy of Retro Girl in the mail today. You have to come over and check it out!

Hey. New board.

Mmm. The fourth issue of Serenity Rose was sure good.

I'm very happy to be back in a place with a good comic store. I'll be able to read this thread again!

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I finnaly got to read the new Astounishing, and I absolutely *loved* the panel where Logan, Hank and Emma first see Colossus. Oh man. The looks on their faces were priceless. The bit back at the school, with the kid who was "cured" was pretty moving, as was Peter and kitty's conversation. The whole thing felt very Jossy, moreso even than earlier issues. I think it was something about the timing on the jokes, combined with the angst.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

What Holli said on Astounishing.

How long is Joss' run? Why am I seriously worried that he's been given orders to leave it hanging to keep people buying the title?

Art Crawl!!!

I think it's 12 issues.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want more than 12 issues! Damn him, what else is he going to do?

Cool, 'cause there was a thing on the letters page about "Concluding Issue 6" or some such.

Am I right that it's a new title that will go on after his run?

Art Crawl!!!

Maybe this arc is concluding in Issue #6 and a new one is starting in #7.

I don't know if this title is continuing after this.
