It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If it turns out to be someone out of left field, like the White Martians... well, that would at least be better than crashing the moon into the earth because concealing a flame source to defeat them in the JLA moonbase would be too hard.

Art Crawl!!!

I liked the cover of IC #4.

Also -- the DC website suggest that there will be another Outsiders and Teen Titans in two weeks.

Plus -- a Teen Titans/Legion special before the end of the month.

Huh.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm confused -- I didn't know who the Legion were so I looked them up. One of them is Brainiac 5 -- apparently a good guy?

So I looked up Brainiac -- also a good guy?

Then who the heck is the person that's been playing with Oracle in BoP?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Brainiac 5 - good guy. (Often the leader of the Legion.)

Brainiac - bad guy. (one of Superman's arch-villains, actually)

As I recall (DX?) Brainiac 5 is descended from a line of robots that Bad!Brainiac created.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

As I recall (DX?) Brainiac 5 is descended from a line of robots that Bad!Brainiac created.

Almost. He is descended from Vril Dox, aka Brainiac 2, who in the original canon was Brainiac's forcibly adopted son. (The idea was that having a son would help conceal the fact that Brainiac was actually an android. Shrug.) Later, Vril lead the revolt that toppled the computers that built Brainiac and were controlling Vril's homeworld of Colu. Native Coluans all have genetically enhanced intelligence, and Brainiac had further enhanced Vril to twelfth level intelligence, which was really a dumb thing to do in retrospect if you're Brainiac. Then post-Crisis reset, Vril became the leader of L.E.G.I.O.N., but I don't know if they erased the original Brainiac conection.

Brainiac 5 is Querl Dox, Vril's great grandson, who inherited Vril's twelfth level intelligence.

Oh, yes. When SA visited me, she had Outsiders 1-14 as cbr files, and she kindly burned them onto a CD for me. So I am all caught up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where are you getting your new issues list from, Steph?
