My condolences to those of you that suffered through the art on the latest Catwoman. It is a little known fact that at most comic art schools these days the classes for 'Face' and 'Ass' are commonly scheduled opposite each other. Unfortunately for you Catwoman peeps, the artist camped in the latter class.

What I'm enjoying most about War Games (the first x-over title I've read "real time" in a dog's age--most things in my world have been Wait For the Trade) is seeing which writers, IMO, play well with others, and which ones don't. By which I mean, who, in terms of style, jars me out of the storyline. Thus far, Lieberman is the worst offender, and Gabrych goes down the smoothest.

I noticed in this week's installment (I spent less than $10 at the store ... felt weird) that the whole Batman is a menace thing was replaced by the idea that he exacerbated a tense situation.
Or maybe that's just my faulty memory of last week -- he was almost a murderer then.
I can't get any comic books until next week. This is driving me crazy ... I want to read Bird of Prey!!

I think an organized storyline brings out the geek in Gabrych, while serving to rein in some of his more outlandish notions.
(In a totally unrelated to War Games note, a Google to make sure I had Gabrych's name spelled correctly verified that his pointy blond head is, in fact, one of the ones in my archive of boymackage example pages for drawing potential pervy fanart. There is something beautifully circular about that.)
What's the pitch for Marvel Age? It's not it's own entire continuity, like Ultimate, right? But it's younger, like much of Ultimate?
