'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

What happened to Commissioner Gordon? If this spoils one of the big stories I have yet to read (NML, Murderer, Fugitive), I won't read whitefont, but if it was just an incidental thing, I guess I'm curious.

What happened to Jim? It's not a Massive Event like NML or M/F, but it is a whole cross-title arc thinger of its own--Officer Down.

ETA: of course, I've just gone and given you no detail. Short version: he's retired.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh no, thanks. I'll have to check that one out, then.

Art Crawl!!!

Comics Continuum has a preview of a Batgirl from late November. (There are images of other pages -- but I haven't looked at them for fear of spoilage even if it's spoilage for something that most of us already suspect.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, they use the phrase "post War Games" in the description. I'm all excited to get to the end, already. I think the ripples excite me the most. And reading other people's Batgirl disturbs me.

NML questions: How was it originally printed? A crossover like WG?

I'm pretty sure it was printed like War Games (although people are welcome to tell me I'm wrong like a wrong thing, 'cause I'm not at home with my comics) -- each title "officially" involved in the event timeline had a No Man's Land cover marking it like War Games does, and they did the same for the Murderer/Fugitive arc. Of course, there's stuff that wasn't included in the five-volume set, like Nightwing at Blackgate, and evildoer bondage fun with Tim...

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

For the record, I nabbed the Nightwing/Catwoman panel that I had wanted to use for an icon. Like so.

evildoer bondage fun with Tim...

Shrift, are you TRYING to kill me?!?

Shrift, are you TRYING to kill me?!?

Well, not intentionally. See, I've noticed that the male villains tend to tie up Timmy (or tie him down, as it were, since Tim was tied spread-eagle to the hood of a car at one point in NML) and use him bait. The female villains tend to subdue Tim via their superior fighting skills, and then keep him close enough to pet.

Clearly, I like this system just fine. And by 'like' I mean TIMMY'S BOOTS HAVE TOES!!!

Ahem.

See, you SAY that, but then you go on to whitefont things that blow a circuit in my brain.

Evil Shrift.

Describe more.

Art Crawl!!!

Nightwing #97 -- spoilery if you haven't read this week's Detective Comics.

(On edit: I thought Detective looked odd. . . )
