Well, it just seemed like they had similar (or maybe the same) symbols, long hair, and where Nightwing covered up the top part of his face, Diamond covered the bottom part. But I haven't read far enough in Powers to know much about Diamond's powers, except that he had them and now he's just really strong.
So sad about the mullet...
I've been reading the Grant Morrison JLA stories every now & then, and Superman is sporting a mullet to put Macho Man Randy Savage to shame in some of those.
