Wolfram,
very little of this was made up for this episode. Though in the original story from which it was adapted, Robin (pre-Crisis Jason Todd) is there (it's his first time meeting Wonder Woman, leading Bats to look at him and say, "Think clean thoughts, chum."), and the rose is a gift from Bruce to Clark. The situation on Krypton was also more messed-up, etc., etc..
Though, I should add
she's still an in his head creation.
Oh, crap, I forgot that was airing this past week.
I figured that the whole Normal life fantasy was just that -- a fantasy because you see where he lives? Not at all like that.
Hayden, there's a torrent up at suprnova, if you're into that sort of thing.
Thanks PMM. Though I found the
change they made having Bruce give Soop just cash for his birthday was human and very funny. When they focused on Mongo I thought I heard screaming. Any idea from the comics what his fantasy was?
Wolfram:
Mongul's fantasy was of conquering. I don't have my copy with me, so I'll give the detailed version when I'm home.
So WW
just fought it off? Is this because she was stronger than Batman? Or maybe that she had nothing to give it?
They didn't show what happened to Wonder Woman.
Which is why I was asking. I figured there may be a hard copy explanation.
it's his first time meeting Wonder Woman, leading Bats to look at him and say, "Think clean thoughts, chum."
Damn. Angel and Connor in "Origin" really ARE Batman and Robin.
