No. And yes. It's always sudden.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

That link froze my browser.

Allmusic.com just did a redesign, and decided compatibility with non-Microsoft, non-Windows browsers wasn't a priority.

Art Crawl!!!

I've got a Windows browser and it was super slow to open for me -- so it isn't that great for us either.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Oh, that's right. I'd forgotten about Allmusic's "screw you if you don't use IE" policy. Apologies to everyone who got frozen. Here's a picture of the MF Doom album I linked to.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I'm pulling pretty much what everone else is (except Ballad of Sleeping Beauty and most of the Ultimate titles (I tend to collect those in trades, and slowly at that), but I will be picking up Ultimate Nightmare and these others that haven't been mentioned yet:

Y, The Last Man #25 - It's been 2 years, imagine that. There is still plenty of story to go, and with the return of Hero, it looks to be maintaining its high quality.

Queen and Country #26 - Greg Rucka's best title, with a new story line with Tara Chase as Minder One now. Perhaps the most realistic spy fiction available today.

Thor #83 - what can I say - I'm a sucker for the Odinson. I'm disappointed that it looks like Neil Gaiman won't be writing the title as his next Marvel project.

I am eagerly anticipating the "War Games" crossover.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

What is Ultimate Nightmare about?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What is Ultimate Nightmare about?

There's a worldwide threat that both Nick Fury and Professor X mobilise their teams for. I think it's supposed to affect other Ultimate bookschange the universe forever!

I'm picking up Ultimate Nightmare to get my Ultimates fix in, since Millar and Hitch can't seem to get their acts together on a monthly basis. (I think Hitch may be the main culprit there).

Art Crawl!!!

Look at this! Not a single tarantula in sight.

(It's next week's NW cover -- in case you don't want to be spoiled.)

It looks weirdly video-gamey.

I may have to pick that up, then.
