So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dinah got in to superheroing at a very young age, as I recall, like late teens, and that's my fanwank for her age. I will continue to believe this even if I'm wrong.

She's 19 in JLA Year One.

Babs is older enough than Dick that it's clearly part of why she's trying to brush him off in Year One. And she'd have to have an MLS to be librarian, so even graduating college early doesn't make her timeline work, from what I can tell.

I think I once figured out something that came almost close to reasonable, but I still wound up with an extra year or two, based on the few mentions of her age we get as Batgirl. I can figure a semi-realistic timeline in my head that has her with the MLS by 20 or 21, but that's as good as I can get.

So I just sort of wave my hands and set brain on "suspend disbelief" until traffic kicks in again and I start doing math. (I was doing this for Robins/Bruce's age the other day. Stopped the moment I got out of the car, just before my brain melted out my ears.)

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Don't do it, Plei! Tim Drake's timeline especially is only explicable via eddies in the space-time continuum.

On the plus side, it keeps me from going postal on the twenty mile drive into work.

On the minus side, Bruce keeps having become Batman at 20 according to the math.

Then I try to adjust, and Tim goes into negative numbers.

Art Crawl!!!

Woot! Joss is planning an FF comic!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Maybe it would be best not to abbreviate Firefly as FF in this thread. I thought he was going to be doing Fantastic Four until I read the article.

Art Crawl!!!

Sorry about that -- we'll call it "Serenity" I guess.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Calling it Firefly's fine -- calling it FF is confusing.

Thrive to spite them

I have some questions!

Local place was having a sale on old back issues and I bought a whole bunch but now I have questions. Most of what I got were various Titan titles and Outsiders.

In Team Titans and there are characters I don't really know about. Like Pantha. And who's "Baby"?

Then there's an issue where Donna Troy turned into a 50ft goddess but then was changed back with her husband and her son?

Who is Mirage and what's her deal with Nightwing and Starfire?

Actually I think those are my only questions right now.

Seeing the ads in the comics is interesting. There are ads for Def Leppard, the premiere of Time Trax, Sega Gensis and the "16 bit revolution", etc.

Isn't it "Teen Titans" not "Team Titans"?

There was a title called Team Titans for a bit.

You can almost take any short T word, stick it in front of Titan and have a Former Titans Title.
