Which kinda ties to my last wonderation -- does Flash's gallery share a similar profile? Like, are they dumber than most's?

Oh, and Batman has a pretty clear Rogue's Gallery profile -- his is the most distinctively patterned of the major heroes, isn't it?
The Flash also has a fairly clear Rogue's gallery.
What kind of clear?
Ita, Maybe some of them, like the Top and Capt. Boomerang, but really, I'd say any of the "whacky fun" villains of old are fair game, here--and nothing says "whacky fun" like Flash villains!
Victor, I was thinking Captain Boomerang too, because he was so prominently featued in the Evil Roll Call pages. Plus, well, he's Captain Boomerang. If there's a more inherently ridiculous supervillain in the DC Universe, I've yet to see him .
So this week my pulls were: UXM, Identity Crisis, Teen Titans, Nightwing, Gotham Central.
I sat in the parking lot and read IC #2. I need to read it again and I have questions!
Also I love the last panel of UXM. I'm still not used to the differences though.
I didn't finish up with Gotham Central, as much as I like the comic I find the artwork very confusing and muddy and while I get it's supposed to be like that and add a feel to it, characters end up looking a like to me.
Holli, I quite agree, although I liked him in the old Suicide Squad--but even there he was a loser. There's a lot of interesting possibilities out there--Chronos, the Calculator. Some of the other villains featured--Chesire, Phobia, Deadshot--have always been edgy and dangerous, so I doubt them, but who knows how far this goes?
I don't have intelligent commentary right now. Too tired. But quickly:
Regarding Kon's behavior in Teen Titans #13 -- Steph, didn't I tell you that this is already established as canon? Hee.
And I think some of you are going to have a fit over the whole
P-C, I'm not having fit. I just... didn't get it right away? And by that I mean I literally had to re-read and squint at the panels to try and figure out how they got from place A to spot B. I came to the conclusion that Catalina intentionally got him drunk and tried to do the elopement thing just so she could hold onto him a little longer, because she knew Dick's paralyzing guilt was fading. And really, y'know, I get why she'd try. Still, it felt rushed and like it didn't really cohere. That's what I'm not so crazy about.
I thought that she seemed way too self-aware to think she could get him to still want to marry her once the paperwork was done.
That was weird.
askye, your complaint about the art in Gotham Central is a common one. Most reviewers have been clamoring for a "roll call" page to help distinguish the characters. Aside from that problem (which I'm slowly getting around) I like Lark's visuals, because it really gives a gritty look to the environment, and I think that is an important element to the story. I thought this issue really rocked.
As for IC #2, an excellent, tough issue. Meltzer doesn't seem to be pulling any punches, is he? I do find it disturbing that this issue heaps even more punishment on Sue Dibny's character, even if it is in flashback. Adds more fuel to the "women in refrigerators" objections.
I was glad they finally showed that villains in the satellite scene - it had been previewed in Wizard a few months ago, so now I can see how it ties in. Did anybody notice that they are dispatching Firestorm to check the satellite out? More set-up for damage?
Fables rocked mightily. The penultimate scene with Bigby and the witch imprisoning Baba Yaga reminded me of the end of the Angel episode "Hell Bound".
