Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

True. Does he actually do anything, or just ment?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He's much more active than Batman was, and he co-leads with Arsenal. Or The Huntress, when Roy's not well.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Tomorrow is the new Powers #1!

I'm in the middle of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay and am really looking forward to reading the Escapist trade paperbacks. Hee!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I have now read Batgirl: Year One. Aside from my confusion over how old Dick and Babs are supposed to be, it's good stuff. Yes.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Metamorpho is almost in it. Or almost Metamorpho is in it. And sometimes they interact with the Titans a little.

Also, Black Lightning's daughter is on the team.

And Nightwing chose the name as an homage. It made Batman smile. When Nightwing's back was turned, of course.

Thrive to spite them

Sean, I appreciate the warning. I did look through one at the store and nothing jumped out that would totally freak me out or offend me. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the concept.

If anyone is willing to lend me the first one I promise to take real good care of it.

Also, didn't Ollie snark about it at some point? Someone did, I swear. I thought it was Ollie. He's got the weird parent competition thing (one sided) going down with Bruce. In the "I'm a bad dad, but I could be BATMAN!" way.

It was awfully cute, regardless.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

They make a valiant attempt to offend everyone. I'm very proud of them.

If anyone is willing to lend me the first one I promise to take real good care of it.

Unfortunately, I doubt Thomash would send his TPBs through the mail. Loaning them to an LAista was a long shot.

Yep. Ollie, in GAv2#32, page 1, to Roy.

"I can't believe you let Dick name yourselves Outsiders. That kid... all he wants to do is outgrow Bats, but he loves him too damn much to step out of his shadow."

(Then Roy and Connor go to a strip club.)

So there's no Wiki that'll put all this together?

Why not?

Plei, I know you've been asked variants on this a million times, or so, but if someone said "Hey, I need to understand Batman. What one TPB whould I read?" Okay, maybe series of TPBs, so something like NML would count -- I'm not sure on that yet.

What would you say for Dick? Babs?
