That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Do we have any ethnicity associated with Batman?

Scottish.

Oh man, wouldn't it be great if he ever found out his parents wealth came from bootlegging and crime?

Well, it's true for most wealthy families.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Just look at the Gates family.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Free Comic Book Day!!!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Just look at the Gates family.

You know the really sad part?

My brain blinking and going, "No, Bill Gates Sr. was a lawyer!"

(In Seattle, the parents were well known somewhat separate of the son.)

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

I'd think with acrobats who are catching each other by the forearms while somersaulting through the air, making one's body slicker and harder to grip would be somewhat counterproductive.

This is why they use talc or whatever it is on their hands.

This just in: free comics day PLUS 50% off backstock PLUS 20% off trades PLUS an additional discount on your box for the month of July?

Equals Extreme Danger.

I'm in love with the Adventures of Barry Ween Boy Genius now as a result of Free Comics Day.

I'll probably continue to pick up the Ballad of Sleeping Beauty (though I find the writing in #1 to be uneven, the fact that the second half was actually pretty good will have me picking up #2).

Oh, and I'm now down to about 15-20 issues of Impulse between me and the complete run. And have two more Starman trades.

My pusher loves that title.

Underworld didn't actually order any free comics, unfortunately, but they offered ye olde Bats' 10-cent adventure, which kicked off Bruce Wayne: Murderer? I liked how the "vintage Bruce Wayne move" for dumping Vesper was taken, if I recall correctly, right out of Batman: Year One.

So, I assume Sasha is a Batgirl? How many are there? Babs was the first, and the recent one is Cassandra, right? And how did Jason Todd die?

Hey, ita, I was poking through old Daredevil trades, and I realized that you, so fascinated by Batman's "psychosis," would really love how fucked up Matt Murdock is. Bendis' run begins with the fourth trade, Underboss. I think you'll find Matt and Bruce have similar issues with regards to being masked vigilantes. The most recent issue (no pun intended) begins a new storyline which reinvigorated my love for the title, so it might hook you enough to want to go back and read the earlier trades.
