Today's (partial) pullist for me -
Batgirl #53 - Batgirl/Robin team-up. Should be interesting.
Batman #629 - I've liked Winick's take on the Penguin and Bats, but there is something lacking in this storyline. I can't figure out what it is, though.
JLA #100 - A new team takes over to launch JL Elite in the anniversary edition. It's got to be better than the Claremont/Byrne run, right? Right?
Batman: Harley & Ivy #3 - finishes the fantastic Paul Dini mini-series - it may be the last thing he produces in the Animated style for a while.
Green Lantern #178 - holding on until Rebirth.
Sleeper Season 2, #1 - The 2 trades for the first 12 issues (Season 1) are out, and this series should get all the support there is. Written by Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips, it has a superhero operative (in the Wildstorm Universe) working undercover for one of the arch-villains, when the only one who knows he is an undercover agent falls into a coma. If you like shades of gray, this has it in spades.
Ultimate Fantastic Four #8 - this title is just behind Astonishing X-Men and Daredevil in my Marvel must-reads. I do hope the pace picks up in Ellis' run; I thought the opening arc by Bendis and Millar took too long.

The next story is called "The Pain of the Gods."
IJS.
Daredevil in my Marvel must-
Jeff, what did you think of the latest Daredevil? Lemme Nilly my post...

I really liked the issue and how Bendis is tying the DD universe back into the rest of events happening elsewhere. This kind of felt partially like Secret War, with the S.H.I.E.L.D stuff in it (since Bendis writes that title (and 1000 others, it seems)) that makes sense.
The run has been one full of twists, that's for sure. It's been very tough to predict what's going to happen in each issue, and Bendis really does seem to have a knack for the cliffhanger ending during an arc.
I agree with your assessment of Natasha. Smokin', for sure. Of course, her presence totally undermined that point I made that all of Matt's girlfriends have the life expectancy of a mayfly, so I was kind of peeved about the fact that she was on the cover. t /mememememe.

One of my favorites was Typhoid Mary's "Burn."
Oh, there's a good (old) one, not exactly a cross over with the X-world, but still involves them. It's the issue that introduces Gladiator. Anybody know more about that one?
Fantastic Four #249-250, and oh my God could I be any geekier than knowing that offhand?

Natasha does tend to avoid the whole dead girlfriend thing by killing anyone who crosses her.
Just got done reading Thomash's purchases of Astonishing X-Men 1 & 2 and now I want Joss to write this book forever.
As Hec has pointed out, he's hitting all the stuff from when I was hard core into the X-Men, back in the 80's. I remember Kitty's first day with the X-Men and their encounter with Emma Frost.
I also remember her first walk through the Danger Room.
There was one panel in #1, when they were sitting on the scale model of Hawaii, that the way Scott was drawn bore a very striking resemblance to Joss himself.
The dialog was, as is no surprise at all, emminently quotable, and absolutley hysterical. I was chuckling mightily the whole time (when I wasn't being floored by Joss' pitch-perfect emotional scenes -- Kitty's smackdown of Emma, Beast's question of Dr. Rao ).
Oh, and I practially screamed LOCKHEED!!!! when he showed up.
Okay, you know what was a bunch of crap? Superman & Batman Generations I.
Safe to assume that if I hated that I should skip II, I guess. Ick.
Batman: Harley & Ivy #3
Y'all found this? When I went to the comic shop tonight, it was nowhere to be seen. Bah.
As for Ultimate Fantastic Four, I picked up #8 tonight even if I haven't had a chance to read it yet. Since I posted the Reed/Victor UltFF story, I've had people begging for regulary continuity fic. Which I obviously don't know. t sigh
While I was wasting time before hitting the bar tonight, though, I did buy the second Birds of Prey and Lucifer, and Powers: Who Killed Retro Girl?
