Eden Studios, the people that have done the Buffy and Angel RPGs, just released in "Eden Studio Presents #1" a background set called "Spacefarers & Prairie Folk" using the same rules as the previous games.
Any resemblance to Firefly is entirely coincidental.
Huh. I'm guessing they tried for the liscense and couldn't get it.
Willing to bet FOX withheld the license till after the movie, in order to better determine its value...

I'll clock 'em for ya this weekend.
Major Disaster: "I'm a f$*#!ing super hero!"
This is what I mean. And he always has/had that skewed viewpoint at the meetings. 'When I was a super villain, we hated it when the heroes would ...' kind of thing. Very cool.
Also among the books discussed here that I pulled and reread was the WTWS issue of Young Justice. having bought it well before I started catching Buffy reruns, I missed out on a lot.
Unnamed character who shall be known as AH2: 'I develop a romantic fixation on Cissie's character? Where did that come from?!'
Character who's name I can't remember who shall be known as SMG2: 'Chill, Ok. Joe wrote this one, and Joe knows what he's doing. Trust Joe.'
Heh.
Oh! That arc of JLA also had wonderful Batman. Nightwing hugs him!
Actually, that's when I was first introduced to a bunch of characters I now really like-- Kyle, Ollie, Zatanna, Ray Palmer, and a few others. I'm still a little unclear on the actual plot, though.
Again, that's the thing with Kelly. His plots tend not to be very straightforward, occasionally leaning over into the nonsensical, but his characters and dialogue are strong, and when he actually connects on a plot, he hits pretty hard. The Nightwing Bats hug also had some accompanying talk of 'rules' that should play well with certain posters who have rather definite opinions on Batships.
I just have to say how much I love the new BoP. That is all.
Michele, I second that statement.
I'm not sure where to begin with the love.
Although I could start at the end and restate my Helena~n~Josh4EVAH!1! I also really loved the cover art on this a lot, and agree with the guy at my comic shop that Land interiors would make our day.
