I was just going back to add that I have CDisplay and it still doesn't work.

Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.
My guess is they were toying with the idea of not killing off Ben in Ult. Spidey but in the end decided it was an integral part of the Spiderman mythos.
That sounds like a good explanation. Thanks.
One thing that bugged me about the trade is they didn't have the covers. Maybe two of them, but that's it.
askye, those are Comic Book Reader archives. If you're on Windows, download CDisplay. On Mac OS X, the equivalent is Jomic. Both programs are free, and will let you read cbr and cbz files -- pretty much any comics you find online will be in those formats.
(You can also futz with the file extensions to make them into ordinary zip or rar archives, but it's way, way easier to read 'em with the software than to change extensions, unzip, then view each page individually.)
I have CDisplay and it still doesn't work.
Oops. Never mind.
Is it windows asking you to pick a program for that file extension, or does CDisplay open a blank/gray screen and then put up an error saying that it can't read the file?
cereal: September previews/solicitations/whateveryoucallems are up at DCComics.
The good: Rucka is back for another run on Gotham Central. Whee! Also, The Loeb/Sale Catwoman miniseries starts.
The bad: Tarantula still. won't. just. go. away .
amych -- CDisplay puts up the blank/gray screen and then gives the error message.
Ouch. In that case, it's generally the case that the file is somehow corrupted -- which sucks for such a big download.
You might try changing the extension to .zip (for .cbz files) or .rar (for .cbr), then unpacking them so you can check out the pages manually -- it could still be that parts of it came through okay, but the chances aren't great.
Speaking of corrupt files, amych, the stuff you posted for me last night no anda bien. Chokes and dies about 3-4 issues in. Waah!
(Rereading the start of Hush, though, I have to say, Bruce's repeated flashbacks to kissing Selina are EXACTLY the sort of thing I thought were missing from the last Nightwing issue. )
And, yeah, the Sensei and Student arc was the sortt of thing that I think will work better in TPB, even for those of us who came in in the middle of it, let alone the end. Bringing in so many of the book's previous kick-ass chicks was hella cool for the big finale, though.
The issue out today looks like a breather between plot arcs, although it does reference one plot pooint from the last arc -- Huntress agreed to go out on a date with a dorky parking-lot attendant to get his help when it was needed.

This always works for me.
Misha, oh, no! Ack! I shall try it again when I get home.
Plei, when you get here, do you happen to remember when Sensei and Student started? And have you seen scans past 64 around anywhere?
It started in issue 62. Have not seen scans.
I'd recommend getting the trade of Of Like Minds, then getting 68, then reading S&S when it's in trade, Steph.
