"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Plus the one he won a Nebula (?memfault) for, the Shakespeare one.

He won the 1991 World Fantasy Award for Best Short Story with this issue, #19, "A Midsummer Night's Dream". It was the only time a monthly comic has ever won the award; they changed the rules shortly afterwards to make sure it couldn't happen again.

In Buffy comic news, issue #55 was in the stores today, containing a one-shot story about Dawn and Hoopy the Bear, still set in the time just before the series started. I picked it up, but haven't read it yet.

Also, Fray #8 was solicited for June 18, so it looks like we'll finally get the ending soon. (Fray #7 should be out on April 23).

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Hoopy the Bear?! Yeah, that sounds promising...

It's a remora, dimwit.

Eh. I'd rather see her with Homey the Clown. He could whack her with his sack full of doorknobs, and then there'd be an excuse for her behavior during the series.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

As long as the comic writers are committed to doing these outlandish plots, why not have a special holiday issue of "Dawn meets Santa Claus"? The Jossverse one.

Just spotted this on eBay. $33.50 plus $10 shipping. Is this a good deal?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

It isn't the action figure you were looking for, Jon. It is something new that has come out, although it is limited edition.

They had it at buffystore last week, but it is gone now. I can't remember the price at this moment, but seeing who it is, I'm thinkin that is pretty good.

You know, I really wonder why there isn't another Spike action figure by now. Or even another set in the past couple of years. It seems like they could make a killing...

I realized that, but thanks. Mostly, I'm wondering if anyone's seen it elsewhere and how the price compares.

Jon, I posted some links upthread post #350 re Spike figurines available in Australia. If you saw it and the info is useless, cool.

I saw those, moonlit. It seems like the mini-statue is less expensive, but I just realized that your links are in $AUS so maybe not....
