Inara: Who's winning? Simon: I can't tell. They don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

See, when amych said "Cerebus" I was thinking "ND's head, MM's head, and PJII's head...yep, that's three."

Buffy *might* go for just-about-to-be-Nightwing (I know I would), but I think she'd go more for already-Nightwing, or of course the Bat himself. She just doesn't do youngsters.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

I think Buffy would go for Bats. I can see a Faith/Nightwing hookup more easily.

Quite easily, in fact. Mmm.

(Plei, you're gonna write that for me now, right?)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

As long as Bats doesn't go for Buffy.

Now, now, ita, there's plenty of Batman to go around.

Ewww, no! That's just so wrong. I can't see a Whedonverse chick with Bats, at all. He's way too serious for all of them.

It's tempting. I've been often distracted by the notion of Faith/Huntress. I can probably make the transition in my brain.

He is. Oddly, I can see Buffy with Kyle. And I think that makes my brain hurt.

I suddenly saw Buffy with Angel, of the X-Men.

It was weird. But less disturbing than seeing her with Scott.

Shan and Willow seems a little obvious. But back in the day, a confused Willow-Kitty-Doug Ramsey triangle would have been cool.

Oh, no worries about that, ita. She's still, you know, a girl.

Buffy and Logan.

Ah hell. This is the girly soap-opera version of "Dude, if Batman and Superman fought, who would win?" isn't it?

Beats the lubespace buttered cat array.

(Which was something that came up in chat with "who'd top? Bats or Supes?")

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Reading AMX, I became amused that Joss was once again writing for a Summers.
