Yeah, I probably do. Btw, Virgin Megastore in NOLA had Robin Year One on sale for 75% off. If you're near a Megastore you might want to swoop through their graphic novels section and see if you can find some bargains. I probably should've picked it up for the Buffista Comics Library.

Heh. Closest one is in Canada.

Who? moi??

Not sure where to put this, but here is a letter I received. My appolgies if this has already been said. --------------- Hi again,

TV Guide has as its cover story this week "The 25 Top Cult TV Shows". _Buffy_ weighs in at #4.

Some interesting news about the next TV season from Ain't It Cool News:

To (mostly) recap, here's where the former Buffyverse writers have landed
so far:
Jeff Bell (Joss Whedon's co-writer on the spectacular just-aired "Angel"
series finale) is headed to "Alias."
Liz Craft & Sarah Fain (they scripted Hamilton's introduction in the
five-star "Underneath") have been asked to join "The Shield."
Steve DeKnight (he co-scripted the hilarious Italy-set "Angel" that aired
two weeks ago) is headed to "Smallville."
Jane Espenson ("Earshot," "The Replacement," "I Was Made To Love You"),
who worked on both "The O.C." and "Gilmore Girls" last year, is joining
"Tru Calling."
Drew Goddard (DeKnight's co-writer on "The Girl in Question") is headed to
"Alias."
Drew Z. Greenberg ("Him," "The Killer in Me," "Empty Places"), who was
scripting "Smallville" last season, is joining "The O.C."
Rebecca Rand Kirshner ("Help," "Touched"), a "Freaks & Geeks" vet who was
on "Las Vegas" this season, is joining "Gilmore Girls."
Doug Petrie ("As You Were," "End of Days"), who worked on both "Tru
Calling" and an aborted "Lost in Space" series for the WB this season, is
said to be taking the year off from TV next season to work on movie
projects (Petrie, some will recall, wrote "Harriet the Spy" and drafted an
early screenplay for "The Fantastic Four").
Buffyverse mastermind Joss Whedon, who wrote more "Angel" teleplays this
season than ever before, is directing the big-screen "Firefly" movie,
"Serenity."

Jane Espenson's joining "Tru Calling" is a good sign, methinks...

And finally, a tidbit which might indicate that the Buffy animated series may indeed live after all:

In the Thurs. May 20th edition of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, in the
"Peach Buzz" section where they talk about local celebrities, they
interviewed Alyson Hannigan's (she's originally from Atlanta) mother Emile
Posner, about an accident that happened in the audience during her
performance of "When Harry Met Sally"
As a side note at the end it reads:
'Hannigan's many "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fans, take note: According to
Posner, who recently visited her daughterin London, the actress is
reprising her role of Willow. While Posner was in town, Hannigan was
recording some voice work for an upcoming "Buffy" animated series.'

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Jane Espenson's joining "Tru Calling" is a good sign, methinks...

Possibly. Doug Petrie's episodes weren't any better than usual.

Rebecca Rand Kirshner ("Help," "Touched"), a "Freaks & Geeks" vet who was on "Las Vegas" this season, is joining "Gilmore Girls."

That's pretty cool. As I was going through my DVDs, I remembered liking most of her episodes and wondering why she wasn't as popular as some of the other writers.

I checked IMDb to see which episodes she wrote, and oh. Not a bunch of great ones, but she did do "Tabula Rasa."

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I've only got No Man's Land 1 so far, though the rest is inevitable I expect.

Heh. When I get home, I really ought to post the updated list of all my trades and graphic novels so everyone here understands what it means when you think, "Oh, I'll just pick up one."

It's like eating a potato chip laced with HEROIN.

Yeah, me too.

I was explaining to a friend last night that the huge shelf in front of him? Was all since December, save for a core few.

Thrive to spite them

I can't remember which issues it was in, but there are a duo of criminals and one has on what looks like a neck brace and his head is on backwards.

What's up with that?
