It will hurt. It will hurt horribly and awfully and painfully.

Nnrrggh. Okay. I'm gonna have to go to the comic store after work today, aren't I? Nnrrggh.

I picked up a bunch of back issues of Gotham Central last visit to the store, and I'm enjoying it muchly.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Okay. I'm gonna have to go to the comic store after work today, aren't I?

Dude, I'm busily plotting how early I can sneak out of the big end-of-year shindig this afternoon.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Just wanted to mention, I pulled out my Watchmen last night, and re-read the whole damn thing in one go, again.

Is there a reason why THIS has never been made into a movie?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

NO. That would only hurt me. And somehow, that doesn't quite seem like the point.

Well, okay, that would hurt in the bad, Robin 125 THE FUCK? way.

Nnrrggh. Okay. I'm gonna have to go to the comic store after work today, aren't I? Nnrrggh.

I am sending The Man on a Mission.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Is there a reason why THIS has never been made into a movie?

Considering some of the scripts that have been floating around, this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Considering some of the scripts that have been floating around, this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Word to the word of the wordiness of word to the word degree.

True, but I just have this mental image of David Caruso playing Rorschach. And, you know, get a good writer who'll be fairly faithful (maybe even Alan Moore himself, although I don't know if he'd consent), get a director with some balls (Robert Rodriguez), and it could be some seriously hot shit.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Is there a reason why THIS has never been made into a movie?

Plus, trying to condense it down to 2 hrs for a movie has given folks snits. EW actually had a little bit about it in a recent articlel, about movies that should be made but haven't yet.

Dude, I'm busily plotting how early I can sneak out of the big end-of-year shindig this afternoon.

It's going to add a good hour and a half to my commute. And people like to call me to hit the pub on Wednesdays. This will be tricky.

Well, okay, that would hurt in the bad, Robin 125 THE FUCK? way.

Despite the warnings, I picked up this issue. Thank goodness I was prepared for the mighty "Whaffuuuuck?" It kind of makes me hope Willingham shows his face at Dragon*Con so's I can tell him what I think about his Batfamily characterization.

Oh, and I read Impulse: Reckless Youth last night. Wally and Linda are cute like cute things, Max is the shit, and my love for Bart is even greater. And he showed up in a dress again while trying to covertly tail somebody. My, do I love that boy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Most of my quibbles were minor, and I want Rucka in Babs' head all the time.

Ple, did you know that JZ and Rucka are friends from college? Not in touch anymore, but they were in the same creative writing class together (where the teacher regularly dissed his genre interests). You'll like this detail - they used to go out on campus patrol together at night.
