Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Powers rawks.

It's cool to find other people who know it. I'm still waiting to find out what the hell "KAOTIC CHIC" actually means.

Question for the Bats fans: is the GCPD that is coming out the beginning of a new arc?

I mean, would it be one to start off with?

Thrive to spite them

I found out when I went to read my comics this weekend that I accidentally bought Robin: Year one 2 of 4 instead of the whole thing. which frustrated me to no end and I forgot to take WW to the beach.

However I had plenty of time to linger over and reread what I had with me. And now I have questions.

But I need to about spoiler space? Do I need to use any?

askye -- I accidentally bought Robin: Year One book 1. So glad I'm not the only one to make that sort of error.

But then I went out and bought the TPB.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oy.

This is gonna be an expensive week. I think half the stuff I read is coming out with new issues.

Thrive to spite them

These are the quick questions I have without the books to refer to:

In both Batgirl: A Knight Alone, and in Robin Reborn there is a Shiva. Is this the same character in both books?

How did Tim Drake figure out Batman's secret and what happened to his parents (is there something I can read that will be more indepth about this). Also how old is he supposed to be?

I may have to seize the cat.

...okay. Spent some more time with Batman in the 1940s and got bored very rapidly. Like, after an hour.

So I'm now thinking, surely there must be a website with chronologies and lists and recs and things yes? And I'm gonna go off on a crusade to find it.

Maybe I ought to just ask my boyfriend, as he knows both my tastes and Batman of the period in which I'm most interested (early 90s, probly)... and maybe even owns some.

Tim Drake's father is alive.

That's the only one of your questions I can answer.

(I went and picked up the rest of The Outsiders, last month's Batman and Rough Justice at lunch.)
