Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It sounds good to me, Tom.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I think it's pretty cool.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Gotham Central was nominated for a major Eisner this year, as I recall, and the first collection has an intro by bigdeal crime fiction writer Lawrence Block.

It's really really good.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm going to have to get it, aren't I?

I went and got the Outsiders tpb at lunch (and No Man's Land vol. 2)

I'm just doomed.

Thrive to spite them

Because I skipped a whole bunch in this thread I think I missed an introduction to The Outsiders. What is it and should I start buying it?

Last night I reread both Batman Year 1 and Batgirl A Knight Alone and they don't get old at all. I'm going to be rereading Wonder Woman the Hiketia (or however it's spelled) and I hope to have legit comments about those tonight.

I think I have all three of those at home, courtesy of the Cincinnati Public Library.

I should check and see what my library has available. I have to go there after work and return Hockey for Dummies...I found it under my bed and I'm not sure how long I've had it.

Your library carries comic books?

Tom, I'm in. Unlike the pilot tape, getting replacement copies of contributed items should be possible, even if difficult. And no one should contribute their autographed copy of The Killing Joke or anything.

I'm in for selfish reasons, because I don't like starting series in the middle, and it's hard to find complete sets here. But I have no problem contributing to the co-op with whatever folks want (that I can get).
