To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

So, are we actually expecting to see TotV part 5 tomorrow? Or is Dark Horse being over optimistic?

Well, I'll buy it. Does that count? Each issue has brought me roughly 15 minutes of mild amusement, although it doesn't really stand out much, does it?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I was never able to find a copy of TotV 4. Newbury's let me down big time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hate me some Scott Summers, but he's not so much a whiner as an ostentatious high-road-taking martyr.

Aside from the Titans and the Outsiders (and really, whining around Batman? Not good idea) who were prominent DC teens? And not in the cheesy Superboy period.

Lapsed Lurker

Scott Summers...

Early Scott Summers? Hey, they were all teenagers.

These days, I sure as hell don't think he whines. But then, he's also The Dude IMO, so hey.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Back in the day there were lots of sidekicks, but they pretty much all ended up in the Titans if they were kept around for any length of time. Teen angst was ALWAYS more of a Marvel thing.

and really, whining around Batman? Not good idea

Hee, it's funny 'cause it's true.

Well, there's always Books Of Magic for DC(ish) teen angst now.

I understand each word, but in relation to Scott Summers they make no sense.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

who were prominent DC teens?

The Legion. I've never read it, but other people describe it as more or less like highschool.

Ayup.

I've never read it, but other people describe it as more or less like highschool.

I've only read the ones with Superboy, and they SUCK. In a cheesy retro way, but they're pretty bad.

Whining?

Upgrade.
