Wow - I'd forgotten that he did the Elementals...I was so sad when Comico got bought out and the series went to hell, since I'd just been introduced to it by a friend who had all the issues. After the financial troubles, they started with the 'Fathom Sex Special #25' and I wasn't interested anymore.
I also miss Piranha Press' 'Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children'.
I wonder if there is still a market for that sort of superhero story anymore?

If there's a market for Vertigo, then I'd think there's a market for smart hero stuff. Alan Moore's comics seem to be doing okay.

Oh, there's a few things that are pretty sharp: Authority, Planetary and Starman (some of which have ended, but all of which I'm reading in graphic novel form so DON'T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS DAMN IT!!!) Promethea, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Hunter.
Oh, and BHP, Fables is about how the land the Fairy Tales come from gets overrun by an evil force, so all of them are forced to relocate to New York City. It's bloody brilliant.
Did anyone see the c.s.i. comic that was supposed to start coming out last month?
(I just looked at my subscription thingy for the comic shop and it mentioned it.)
I don't have the link, but I saw today that Alan Moore is picking up a few dropped series(es), including the Lost Girls series.
No, I am pretty sure Avatar is reprinting what has already been done...
Here's the link.
It say's "reprint" in the first paragraph and then mentions bringing the series to its conclusion further down. Hmmm.
My favorite comic is Powers.
If anyone is interested - here's a link to the first issue online:

It's written by Brian Michael Bendis (he also does Ultimate Spiderman, Daredevil, Alias, etc.)
