Another social casualty...

So, it turns out that last week Michele was correct in doubting my hopeless enthusiasm: The Escapist Volume 2 is off of this week's ship list and is not projected on next week's (although an $18 version of Volume 1 is on next week's list). I haven't bothered to check Datk Horse to see what the new release date might be.

With regard to the possible circulation joint venture, I would be willing to contribute some TPBs, including Y: The Last Man, Fables, The Escapist, Death, several Buffys, Sandman Presents, and some assorted others. Since I'm still trying to convince DH to read Sandman, those aren't leaving my sight. Who knows when he might decide to read them?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Um, wow.

Though I think if I ever felt inclined to dress up like Batman and help people, I'd make sure I had a better costume.

Finally picked up the last 1602. Not what I was expecting, but it did wrap things up. Loved the last page. I'll have to sit down and re-read the whole run.

Bought Teen Titans #s 7 and 8. The comic-book guy approved.

Hee! If you image-Google for the artist we all know who illustrates Magic: the Gathering cards, the very first picture is the artist himself at, I assume, a con, signing cards.

Hee!

I think the red shirt doesn't help with the pinkness....

True.

Though he's just as pink in black. Mostly, he's just pretty freakin' pink.

(And it's fun to make him turn red and squinty.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Huh. I just get a couple thumbnails of acoustical musicians onstage that lead to defunct web pages. Are you googling using terms besides P___ V_____?
